Hi everyone let's say a big hello to Maya, she is a 3 year old Dogue de Bordeaux, who currently lives in Staffordshire. She is awaiting her assessment but here's what we know so far .......

Maya is being rehomed due to sad family circumstances and not through her fault, although we must say that she is wary around new females so we are suggesting more than one visit will be necessary, as with all our dogs only experienced large breed owners will be considered.

Maya is house trained and is not destructive, she is not crate trained and currently has the run of the house when her owner goes out, at the moment she is only left for about 3 hours occasionally but used to be left for up to 7 hours with no problems . Maya is used to walking twice a day but at the moment she is only getting out about 3 times a week, she can be picky when out as to what dogs she likes, no aggression just growling, she does have one doggy friend she likes to walk with but sounds like with a bit more socialisation she could be fine, she did live with a labrador when a pup. She does not live with children but grandchildren visit regularly.

We are looking for a pet and child free home for Maya, if you feel you could give her a forever home please either pm us on the facebook rescue page or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.........

Tinky pinks update: Hello everypawdy, it's me, Tinky pinks, although mummy Karen keeps telling me I am a stinky Tinky, I tinks it has something to do with the tripe stix that I find so yummy but if mummy Karen gives me them she has to deal with the consequences hehe. Anyway I thought I would let you know how I am doing, I'm getting better at not flooring mumma Karen as she has been helping me understand that it isn't good to launch at her and now I have to sit and wait before I can get dressed to go for my walkies but I'm getting there. I do so love my walkies even with that halti thing on my nose. I have taken treats nicely from a man who is here sometimes and I've even walked with him. I met the man next door the other day, so I had to give him a woof but he wasn't bothered so we had a little chat. There is one boy dog in the kennels that I'm not a big fan of coz he keeps woofing at me, but we walk past him quickly and I get told to leave, so you can see I've had a lot going on, hope yous hoomans are all good, speak again soon, miss Tinky pinks 🐾🐾🐾

Hello lovely hoomans, my name is Tinks and I would very much like to come to your house and snuggle with you on your sofa. I'm not going to lie, you see I'm not an easy peasy, cutesy option although I am very cute and pretty. I have spent some time with some lovely people at a rehab centre as I really didn't like other dogs but I am a lot better and have learnt to follow commands and I am muzzle trained which isn't very pretty but it helps keep me safe. I am learning to walk on a halti and harness which means I'm not pulling mummy Karen's arm out of it's socket, you see I am quite strong as I am a mastiff cross staff. I absolutely love my hoomans once I know you and I give the bestest cuddles. If you would like to know more about me or arrange to meet me please message one of the lovely people that are trying to help get me my special peoples, lots of love Tinky Pinky
